PARKING
There is typically plenty of parking at the train station parking lot on Potomac Street by early evening, or along Potomac Street itself. However, if you have difficulty in finding a parking space, there is additional parking just a few blocks away at the now closed Hilltop House Hotel, which requires an approximate seven (7) minute walk downhill.
To get there you simply go up High Street and turn right on Columbia Street (there is still a sign for the Hilltop House Hotel on the corner) and proceed slowly up to the stop sign, which is E. Ridge Street. Turn right here at E. Ridge Street, proceed slowly one (1) block and there will be several parking lots around the fenced off hotel, which the current owners have given us permission to use.
Of course it’s always great to check out www.mapquest.com, or www.google.com/maps so that you will be familiar with the street layout of Historic Harpers Ferry, WV!
